WonderCon and Jericho

Last Sunday, I was lucky enough to be able to make it to San Francisco for the Jericho screening and Q and A afterwards…

Flight was a nightmare getting there, it was raining in LA when my flight landed at LAX.. The people at the airline counter at LAX said the flight from LA to SFO would be delayed three hours due to fog in SFO.. The lady at the counter suggested I try to get on the flight from LAX to Oakland, as I was about to walk over, a woman walked up to the desk and was going from LA to SFO. After she was told of the delay, I said to her to come with me to the Oakland counter and we can both see about that flight..

We both did get on the flight to Oakland, the lady said that she had a meeting in SFO that she had to get to at the Marriott across the street from the Moscone Center and would give me a ride in her limo..

So I wound up getting there in time..saw Sean from Jericho Kansas and then saw Carol Barbee..once in the back I reacquainted myself with Alicia Coppola, Lennie James and Brad Beyer..and introduced myself to a couple of people from CBS. CBS had flyers made to pass out to the people in the Expo center, I passed out many and gave the rest to two friends who were dressed as Stormtroopers to pass out outside of the building. We then went to the interview area…was flattered that a couple of journalists talked to me..then it was back to the green room..

There I met Summer Glau and Thomas Dekker from Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles…

Everyone at the Jericho table had a nice lunch and a great conversation about many topics.. Then it was time for the Q and A, Carol and the gang you can tell love the show and love to talk to the fans about Jericho..Carol was nice enough to give me a shout out from the stage..took me by surprise and humbled me..

Once back behind the curtain of the Q and A, Thomas Dekker shook my hand and said he is a huge Jericho fan as well.. When in interviews people ask him what show besides his does he like, he says Jericho.

Then after more conversation, the Jericho team and I said our good byes and I was left to get in touch with my inner geek at WonderCon..

A great event with at least 1,100 people in the hall on a rainly and foggy day in San Francisco on a Sunday..
