Jericho Rangers of the week….
The firefighters and other emergency personnel… that risked and are still risking their lives to put out those awful fires that have scorched most of southern California.
The bravery and many acts of heroism are truly amazing. To brave these kind of fires to protect homes and businesses of people they dont even know, takes a rare kind of person..
Each one of the emergency personnel are the bravest of the brave. Many of whom did not know the status of their own homes as they were risking it all to save someone elses home.
When disasters like this happen, we all respect and admire what all the emergency personnel do day in and day out.
To serve and protect, I think aptly describes all of those true heroes that have been battling the fires in Southern California all week and I fear for more days to come..
Thank you all for all that you are doing..when I think of heroes, I dont think of sports stars, tv stars, political stars or even a tv show…I think of our emergency personnel as the true heroes.
From the police officers to everyone involved in the effort to put out the fires..YOU are all our heroes..
